Assist the Grants Compliance Officer in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of all grants database systems.
Assist in the grant process from application to approval to subsequent reporting requirements.
Assist in the compilation of correspondence with grantors (e.g. Award notification, denial, declarations and other documents as directed by Grants Compliance Officer).
Ensure that grant database systems are current.
Develop and run queries on the grant system.
Track the receipt and processing of Funders/Grantors reports.
Create, assemble and maintain central grant files (e.g. Original proposals, award letters, acknowledgements, rejection letters, contracts, budgets, and reports).
Stay current on trends and continually improve the internal grants processing and administration.
Assist in Grant proposal preparation and submission through sponsoring agency systems.
Monitor grant period expenditure obligation dates and final liquidation date.
Ensure high levels of quality control and accuracy on grant related documents.
Assist with annual reports of grants.
Provided fiscal support in coordination of grant expenditures.
Assist with auditing requests and preparation.
Organize accounting files for fiscal use.
Provided support to Administrative and Senior Management Staff including assisting with calendars, correspondence, communications, filing, maintaining up to date information on funders'/grantors' contacts, photocopying and answering phones.
Participate in Administrative Staff meetings.
Additional duties as assigned.

Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Proficiency in Google Suite.
High School Diploma Required.
Prior knowledge in grants and accounting experience is a plus.
Preference will be given to Associates Degree in Business related field or a combination of education and experience equivalent.
